Over 500 partygoers celebrated Diwali in style at The ICCA on Saturday 31st October 2009. The event, which was sold out, offered a family friendly atmosphere for all and provided a good mix of music, dance, festive food and a fun raffle. Auctioned at the event was a cricket bat signed by The Indian Cricket team, who visited the centre earlier this year. After some competitive bidding, the bat went for over £400. And as the music played, children at the party had the opportunity to get their face painted - an activity much enjoyed by many youngsters.

The ICCA Management Board Election Update

A total of 17 nominations for prospective candidates willing to participate on The ICCA management board were received. After conducting interviews with these candidates, all 17 were accepted onto the board. An election will therefore not be necessary as all nominated candidates have been agreed. The new management board will take over its responsibilities from 7 June 2009 and will be in place for a period of four years.
