For only £2 a month, we run Yoga classes and organise trips around the UK. Last year, many trips were made and we're looking to plan trips to The Lake District, Parliment House in London and The Science Musuem.

Join the members on Mondays and Thursdays between 10.30am and 12.30pm.

NICCA Hockey Club
NICCA Hockey club win the Sikh Union Six-a-side tournament once again!

This tournament was held at university boulevard, in Beeston, hosted by Sikh union Nottingham. NICCA have now won the tournament 2 years running!! (2010 and 2011) this year there were 21 teams from all over the country, including a team from Dubai.

NICCA finished top of the group and then played Sikh union London in the semi's (won 4-0), then NICCA met London tigers, these two have often clashed in tournament finals, this year London tigers called up Pakistan international Ali Ghazanfar, just for the final, they also had a Pakistan junior player in the squad.

2-0 down at half time, Nicca's players heads had dropped, a stern team talk by captain Surinder Saini seemed to have done the trick, as then they piled on the pressure in the second half. The home side were awarded a penalty, which was taken by ex Punjab Police player Dharminder Singh, who got out his 12 BORE and shot NICCA back into the game!

With 60+ supporters watching and the clock running down the pressure was mounting on NICCA, 90 seconds left on the clock and Saini took his goal keeper off and put on another striker, the gamble was rewarded as with 15 seconds left NICCA scored! The home side then won on penalties in sudden death!
