ICCA Building Project

The Building Project

The ICCA took possession of its new centre continuing the Building for the Future project in May 2008. Since then we have successfully hosted hundreds of events including dinner and dances, conferences/meetings and private functions such as weddings and birthday parties.

Trading as ‘The Atrium’ the facilities at the centre include a function and banqueting space with capacity for up to 600 people, a modern commercial kitchen and a social club/bar area. The top floor of the building includes office space and additional meeting rooms.

The final phase of works to the first floor was completed in winter 2009/10, increasing the area available for private hire. This space was tailor made for award winning ICCA Day Care Services and is utilised by over 100 Day Care Service users. The breakout rooms in this area are used not only for interactive classes for Day Care users but also for private and corporate hire.

The building is truly worthy of the description a ‘Building for the Future’. It is accessible to all (fully DDA compliant) and provides high quality flexible space to better meet the needs of all Nottingham communities. Key stages of the development and the finished facilities can be seen in our Building Development Gallery.

The ICCA has been able to complete the Building for the Furture project with the financial support of the following organisations:

  • Donations from a large number of our members and supporters
  • Sale of the previous ICCA Building
